BIBLE CLUB
Time: Tuesdays – 6 weeks during Fall & Spring semester, 3PM-4:30PM

How to Volunteer: Roles of teachers and helpers.
About: If you love working with young children, this is an exciting opportunity to be apart of teaching them about the Bible and God’s word. Meeting time consists of a Bible lesson, singing & dancing, games, and crafts.
More Information: Second - Fifth graders are invited to join the after school Bible Club at Lakeland Elem. Space is limited to a total of 80 students - 10 girls & 10 boys from each grade. Volunteers are needed for roles of teachers/helpers. If you love working with young children this is an exciting opportunity to be part of teaching them about the Bible & God’s word. Meeting time consists of a Bible lesson, singing & dancing, memory verse, games, crafts and of course a snack. Six consecutive weeks are scheduled during each semester with dates determined after the school schedule has been set for the year.

Time: 1 hour during the school day, set by the volunteer

How to Volunteer: Volunteers are matched with a teacher from Lakeland Elementary who will assign readers for you to listen to for an hour each week.
About: The purpose of the program is to help students achieve the appropriate reading level, so they do not fall behind or fail in our educational system. This is a rewarding, life-changing experience!
