Grateful Temples is geared toward improving personal wellness in a fun, supportive & encouraging setting so that we may serve God better. Through sharing, learning, listening & encouraging each other we can eliminate clutter from our lives, nourish our bodies and souls; thus improving our overall general wellness.

Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?  If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.      ~1 Corinthians 3:16-17

Mission – A community of women whose purpose is to know God through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship of women, youth and children; and to expand concepts of missions for transformation of the World.

Purpose – To serve & support various ministries for women & children both locally & globally.

Monthly meetings include business & entertainment.  In addition to serving our community through missions, HMW is a social group that hosts events and day trips throughout the year.

Through member’s love offerings and fundraising efforts HMW provides help for the following projects:  Angel Tree, Family Promise, Family Time Crisis Center, Mats for Homeless Veterans,  Gurley Lee Epps Scholarship Fund, Shut-In Outreach, Venezuela Mission & various FMH programs supporting Kids First, Wildfire & church needs.

T-N-T – TRIED & TRUE

Time: 4th Thursday, NOON – 2PM | FMH SANCTUARY

Adults 50+ 

TNT “explodes” with fun, food & fellowship for all life-seasoned adults (50+).  The group strives to build enduring friendships while making everyone feel welcome and appreciated.

Monthly meetings include a catered lunch ($10 donation) and various programs ranging from live entertainment to informative talks and presentations. 

In addition to the monthly meetings, TNT coordinates monthly bus trips through Precinct 3. The trips are a fabulous way to see & explore Harris County & surrounding areas.  A stop at Buc-ee’s and a stop for lunch will most likely be included in the day’s adventure.

TNT is a very social organization; however, the group supports various missions of FMH including Saturday’s Kids, the Scholarship Fund & various other church needs.
