We know that summer is a busy time - vacations, sleepovers, camps...but we want to stay connected with you! Beginning June 2, Josh Castro will be leading a time of study, devotion, and lunch every Wednesday afternoon at noon. The location will be different every week. This will take place of our regular Wednesday night meeting and worship time throughout the summer.

My name is Josh and I've overseen Student Ministries here at First Methodist Humble since the start of 2020. I'm from Houston, TX and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2019. Before coming to First Methodist Humble, I worked with youth at the Boys and Girls Club in 2015, Lakeview Summer Camp in 2017, and as a Pastoral Intern at Cypress Trails United Methodist Church in Spring, TX during the summers of 2018 and 2019. Besides youth, other interests of mine are gaming on PC and Nintendo Switch, philosophy (got a minor in it!), history, and being Houston's #1 Chicago Cubs fan (don't worry, I also support my hometown 'Stros too).

As Youth Director my goal is to lead young followers of Jesus to become young and passionate disciples. Our ministry does this by helping to build foundations of faith on solid ground through youth lead worship and mentorship programs. Whether you are a parent, student, or willing servant for youth, I can't wait to get to know you! Together, we will build the Kingdom of God in Humble, one student at a time.
